Club Rules for Group Runs in the Yellow Tier

As many of you are aware, San Mateo country was recently downgraded to the “Yellow” covid tier. This is great news, as far as allowing the local schools, restaurants, and businesses to continue a path towards “normal”.

What does “Yellow” mean for the run club? Honestly, not a whole lot.

While Guidelines say that masks for fully vaccinated people are no longer required outdoors – they still are recommended during physical activity around others.

We will continue to require that all runners who show up to our group activities still bring a face covering and wear it when unable to maintain 6ft of distance.

We are aware of the new recommendations that were released from the CDC this week. However, our club is adhering to the local county and state guidelines. We will keep you updated as things change.

The latest county recommendations can be found here.

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to us at info@bemontrunners.com

We appreciate your continued support and adherence to these rules.

Happy Trails,
Jon
